Android 17: Security Becomes a Core Selling Point

Google has started pushing Android 17 to Pixel devices, with other brands to follow. The most notable upgrades in this version focus on security and privacy: users can now grant apps temporary precise location permissions, share only specific contacts instead of the entire address book, and use the "Mark as Lost" feature to lock the phone with biometrics, preventing thieves from accessing it even if they know the password.
